Brittany Besler is a Tax Controversy Manager at Prager Metis. She has been in the Tax Accounting profession since 2012.
Prior to joining the firm, Brittany worked at PwC & KPMG, where she advanced from tax intern to tax senior associate. Her responsibilities at PwC & KPMG included the preparation and review tax returns from various sized and multiple industry clients, and working on tax provisions, preparing and auditing tax provisions in compliance with ASC740. Brittany’s experience continued at the law firm of Krokidas & Bluestein where she worked with tax exempt and governmental clients obtaining tax exemptions, reestablishing tax exemptions, guidance memos, etc.

Nicole Bononi-Wilson is a Tax Controversy Manager at Prager Metis. Ms. Bononi-Wilson concentrates her practice on federal, state and local tax controversy matters, including collections, examinations, administrative appeals, and trial. She has represented numerous individuals in US Tax Court as well as individuals before the Department of Justice. Ms. Bononi-Wilson represents a broad range of clients including individuals, privately held businesses, and large companies and multinationals. After obtaining her law degree, Ms. Bononi-Wilson served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Alfred B. Bell for the Court of Common Pleas in Pennsylvania. She went on to work for a resolution & accounting firm where she handled various complex controversy matters while running their Audit department..
Ms. Bononi-Wilson is also a proud military spouse and the mother of two daughters. She strongly believes in giving back to the community and is proud to serve as a Key Spouse, providing support to fellow families of military members during their times of need. She was also recognized by Prager Metis for her pro bono work with the Community Service Award. She has been named as a “Super Lawyer – Rising Star” in New Jersey for 2023.
